Ghosts of Tabor is the only extraction based VR FPS PVP and PVE survival game where you will have to use your wits, skills and resources to survive. Inspired by games such as Escape from Tarkov and DayZ, the game features a variety of scenarios from scavenging to looting and crafting. You never know who’s around the next corner.
I worked on many things in Ghosts of Tabor including menus, guns, quality of life improvements, status effects, and gun wall to name a few. Many challenges were overcome by communicating with the team and getting the help that I needed. Since the game had to run on the Meta Quest 2, which is basically an Android phone strapped to the player’s head, I had to always keep performance in mind and optimize my code as much as possible. I wrote original code, as well as debugged and refactored other people’s code.
